The countdown is on for Bondi Innovation Hub, launching on 1 March! Big reveal on our location below, update on applications to be a Resident, more soon on launch events and big plans!

We had our first group meetup this week, be sure to join the groups you are interested in, including Tech startups, wellbeing entrepreneurs, social enterprise, ecommerce and many more – each will have a monthly meetup and lots of ways to connect to the coolest locals with the same interests!!

Update on Bondi Innovation Hub!!

We are super excited to officially announce the address of Bondi Innovation Hub:
33 Hall Street, above the new Australia Post office which is opening soon, opposite the existing one. It is impossible to get more central in Bondi Beach, we are surrounded by amazing cafes, restaurants, bars, gyms, yoga studios, supermarkets… and the most important: we are just steps to our beautiful beach!

Our first day for Residents at Bondi Innovation Hub is 1 March. We have had a pile of applications from inspiring locals who want to work, connect and collaborate with talented like-minded innovators.

Apply today if you want to be part of this ambitious project to create a Bondi talent community founded on collaboration, mutual learning, new ventures and growth! 

There are limited spaces and the process is highly selective so apply now!

We were honored to be interviewed by Bondi Beach Radio on their special program Bondi Beach Breakfast. Thank you Boston & Ciara for inviting us to explain what Bondi Innovation Alliance is all about. We had a great time, and for sure we’ll be back soon to update you on how the Bondi Innovation Hub is growing.

Tech startups group coffee meetup

Las Wednesday we had the first Tech Startups meetup of the year, we had a fabulous time! 

It was great to reconnect with some of the pioneer members of the club, but also to welcome new ones to the community.

In addition to sharing our skills, what we’re doing and how we can collaborate, discussion topics included:

– in future meetups one person bringing an issue for the group to help with, as well as (as usual in our meetups) generating cool ideas for what we can do at the end of the session

– creating experiences where people around the world can project themselves into Bondi

– showcasing local retailers and Hall St in virtual and 3D experiences

– future fireside chats being literally around a fire, with live 3D streaming from inside the fire

W’ll aim to get the conversation and insights flowing in the Tech startups group online, check it out!! We’re looking forward to next one.
