Entrepreneurs Christmas Party and Bondi Innovation in 2022

Our annual Entrepreneurs Christmas Party was a huge success even with significantly reduced numbers due to pre-holidays caution. A good selection of our core community were joined by many newcomers, who all reported meeting a wide variety of ‘good people’, with a number of new collaborations planned.

The event at Hotel Bondi’s Curlewis Bar kicked off with a panel featuring three super-inspiring entrepreneurs.

Benjamin Chong of RightClick Capital spoke about the lessons from his portfolio companies over the last two years, pointing to the many opportunities from change and the importance of mindset.

Patrick Kidd, Founder of Patricks shared about his company’s exceptional success during COVID and the value of their quest for excellence.

Jeremy Fleming of Stagekings told the story of how the pandemic had gone from devastating their business to supporting the establishment and success of three additional companies, all feeding on each others’ success.

We continued with celebrations, connections and making merry, with an open bar and great food from Hotel Bondi. Many connections made and potentially ventures spawned!

Plans for 2022

After the closure of Bondi Innovation Hub due to COVID we are continuing with our mission of connecting and catalysing the extraordinarily talented people who live in Bondi region to enable inspiring innovation, ventures, creativity and value creation.

Initiatives will include event series in Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction, exploring establishing a local services marketplace, and other initiatives to help Bondi region become a world-class innovation center.
